// WHY US

The lock is half the story.

A high-grade deadbolt in a hollow frame with a half-inch strike screw is theatre. We look at the door, the frame, the strike and the hinges, because that's the assembly an intruder actually meets.

// HOW WE WORK

What you can hold us to.

Not slogans, the specific commitments our technicians are held to on every call.

01

If the existing hardware is sound, rekeying is cheaper and just as effective. We say so.

Rekey when rekeying is right
02

Long strike screws and reinforcement come as part of the job, because that is where forced entries actually fail.

The frame gets addressed too
03

You get a documented policy, so you always know how many keys exist and who holds them.

// QUESTIONS

Straight answers.

I just moved in. Should I rekey or replace the locks?
Rekey, in most cases. If the existing hardware is sound and appropriately rated, rekeying makes every previously issued key stop working at a fraction of the cost of new locks. Replacement makes sense when the hardware is worn, damaged or under-specified for the door.
What actually makes a lock high-security?
Three things: a patent-protected keyway so blanks are controlled and keys cannot be copied at a kiosk, physical attack resistance such as anti-drill and anti-pick features, and a documented key control policy so you know who holds what.
Is a strong deadbolt enough on its own?
No. Most forced entries fail at the frame, not the lock. A high-grade deadbolt with a short strike screw in a hollow jamb still gives way. We address the strike, the screws and the frame reinforcement as part of the job.
Can you set up a master key system for my building?
Yes, and it is designed on paper before any pins are touched: who opens what, which doors sit outside the hierarchy, and what happens operationally when a key goes missing.
Do smart locks actually make a property more secure?
They change the trade-offs. You gain auditability and remote control, and you take on batteries, firmware and a network dependency. We specify them where those trade-offs suit the property, and we tell you the failure modes before purchase rather than after.
Do you handle car keys as well?
Yes, including transponder keys, remotes and proximity smart keys for most makes and models, alongside residential and commercial work.
A lock is only as good as the door it's mounted in. We look at both.

// BEFORE WE OPEN ANYTHING

Proof of ownership.

Before we open anything or change any lock, we have to establish that the property or vehicle is yours. This is not paperwork for its own sake. It is the reason nobody can call us and have your locks changed either.

Photo ID, matching the property or vehicle
Government-issued ID plus a document tying you to the address or the VIN, deed, title, registration, lease, utility bill or similar.
You must be there in person
We cannot open a property or change locks for someone who is out of state, out of the country, or sending a friend, a relative or a contractor on their behalf. No exceptions, however reasonable the request sounds.
Tenanted property, we cannot let you in
If the property is rented and the tenant is in possession, an owner cannot have us open it or change the locks. That is a matter for the courts, not a locksmith.
Evictions, the Sheriff must be on site
We carry out lock changes on an eviction only with the Sheriff physically present and the court paperwork in hand. We do not attend evictions on a landlord's word alone.
The same rule applies to vehicles
Car lockouts and key work require ID and proof the vehicle is yours, title, registration or equivalent. A key in your hand is not proof.
Commercial premises
Business lockouts require proof of ownership or documented authority to act for the business.
We may ask for documents before we dispatch
If anything about a request does not sit right, we will ask you to send ID and proof of ownership over the phone, before a technician leaves. If you are not willing to provide it up front, we will not attend. That is not suspicion of you personally, it is the same check that keeps anyone from doing this to your property.

If you cannot produce it, we will not open itand we will still charge for the call-out, because our technician still traveled. Bring the documents and it is a two-minute conversation.
